October 17, 2001 – Honda says the Unibox is a concept vehicle 'that puts more fun in your life and gives more freedom to communicate'. Reminiscent of modular office furniture, this is probably the most unusual concept to be shown at the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show.

The box design consists of truss frame and modular transparent panels. Storage compartments in the side panels makes the most of the storage space available. In these compartments you can store a electric generator and/or a foldable electric bike.

Thanks to the box design and overall height of 1890mm, its interior is vast even though the overall length is limited to 3420mm. The interior floor is totally flat and the seats can move for-aft on the full-length sliding rails.
