October 20, 2001 The Toyota DMT (Dual Mode Traveler), developed over the platform of the Previa, is a concept van with 'Drive' and 'Stay' modes which provides versatile functions supporting the pursuit of personal interest in a mobile, individualistic lifestyle.
"Drive Mode" - When driving, the driver enjoys an excellent view of the road thanks to the high sitting position.
"Stay Mode" -Behind the two-passenger's cabin, there is a vast interior space designed to provide versatile configrations and adapt easily to a variety of activities. It can be a mobile office or a hobby room, for exapmle.
The silhouette features a high-lift cabin. The roof of the passenger's cabin which is higher than the rest part of the roof, and window outlines distinguish the "Drive Mode" and "Stay Mode" areas.
