The design story is dynamic at this years North American International Auto Show. Following Frankfurt and Tokyo, the NAIAS displays different kinds of cars for the North American market, and there is a strong focus on design, more than any other major show.
Production debuts include the Honda Pilot SUV, Cadillac XLR, Volvo XC90, Chevrolet SSR, Maserati Coupe, and the new generation Range Rover.

Concept vehicle debuts for Detroit include the Acura RD-X, Cadillac Cien, Dodge Razor and M80, Jeep Compass, Infiniti FX45, Mercedes Vision GST, Nissan Quest, Pontiac Solstice, Saab 9-3X, Volkswagen Magellan, and many more...
This is also the first chance for many to see the Lincoln Continental concept, and production versions of the Chrysler Crossfire and Hummer H2, which made their debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show a few days earlier.
