The Los Angeles Auto Show is held just a few days before the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, and with the two shows vying for attention, it's a frantic time for the exhibitors and the media.

Michelin Challenge

This years show features the world debut of several concept and production vehicles, including a flagship concept from Lincoln, the 2004 Chrysler Crossfire in it's final form, the Maserati Coupé and the production version Hummer H2. In a town known for its splashy Hollywood premieres, Day 1 of the 2002 Los Angeles Auto Show was a bit short on pizzazz.
