Europes biggest and most important biennial gathering, the Frankfurt Motor Show, has seen the simultaneous launch of the third generation of Fiat Punto and Renault Clio, two of Europes top-selling models. New coupe-cabrios featured strongly too with launches of the Volkswagen Eos, Volvo C70, Nissan Micra and Opel Astra Twin Top. For luxury buyers, Mercedes debuted the new S-Class, Audi showed the Q7 and Jaguar unveiled the new XK sports car.

There were fewer concept vehicles than previous shows but surprise debuts included the Mini Concept Frankfurt and the Opel Antara SUV. Ford showed the Iosis and Mazda impressed with the Sassou concept. French makers also featured strongly with showcars from Citroen, Peugeot and Renault.
We have all the highlights from the show floor, with in-depth design reviews and an extensive photo gallery coming soon.
