Feb 21, 2001 - I.DE.A. Institute, the Italian design and engineering house that has designed and developed the successful Tata Indica is putting the final touches to the Aria Coupe it has built for the Indian carmaker and that will be unveiled at the Geneva show late this month.

The Aria Coupe is a development of the cute open-air two seater Aria Spider that Tata unveiled last year at the Geneva Show.

The move suggests that the company is committed to the project but priority would probably be given to the coupe. Whereas the Spider has the greatest sales potential in a number of export market and just some regions in India, the coupe would certainly meet with a greater sale potential both on the home market and export.
