Sep 12, 2000 - A substantially revised SEAT Arosa will make its debut at this months Paris Motor Show.
This Arosa is the sixth new or revamped SEAT launched by the company in the last two years. With its introduction, the whole range now shares the brands distinctive face with a single nostril, centre grille and black-framed headlights.
Those of the new Arosa will get anyone with a fetish for automotive jewellery particularly excited. Twin head-lamps, one much larger than the other, covered by a clear lens rimmed in black now give the Arosa real rear view mirror attitude if youre being pursued by one.
While the cars tail-lights will have our lamp fetishist beside himself with their so-called "polygeometrical" design - thats a combination of circles and triangles to the rest of us. To open up the tailgate of the Arosa, you now flip the SEAT "S" badge just as you would on a Leon or Ibiza which, at the risk of sounding exceptionally sad, is a delight to watch as it glides back into place after use.
Like its exterior, the interior of SEATs baby has been considerably funk-ed up. The most obvious change is a new dashboard covered in pixel-inlay trim with twin instruments under a single half-circle binnacle.
