Designed for the different needs of the city driver, I-cone is a versatile automobile that can be used as much as in business trips or loading and unloading tasks, or in trips of a more playful nature. Its design simplifies the automobile volumes, by inspiration in architectural concepts and product designs linked to the city. The project moves away from the traditional premise of a vehicle with a more powerful and aggressive motor. In return, there is a choice for a much more light and pleasant visual conception that simplifies the idea of the chaotic and stressful city.

At present technology is a large part of our lives. Its application to some transport means not only covers users basic needs, but also allows turning the trip into a more unique experience. Currently, in the field of aeronautics, companies look for products that provide clients with an unforgettable trip. The aim is to turn the flying time into a dream holiday or a relaxing period after a frantic working day. The aim of the Recaro Aircraft-Seating project is to provide the passenger with a sensation of comfort, familiarity and daily life previously unthinkable in a plane. This project has the support of Recaro AircraftSeating and it has been designed based on an existing seating product category from the company.

Jeep Mitsubishi is designed for use in the countryside or in the city. This vehicle manages with practicality in an urban field, but also in a mountain road. The vehicle has large openings that allows for more versatility in outdoor experiences. The five doors also provide it with the necessary comfort and functionality to move around the city. The exterior style reflects the duality of uses.The interior reflects its duality of uses thanks to a very versatile back seat that allows the user to transform the back into a large load compartment or to seat up to six people, in a vehicle four metres long. The vehicle is based on the platform of new Mitsubishi Colt.
CM01

CM01 is a suspended monorail that links the older Barcelonan fairground of Montjuïc-1 with the new one in Montjuïc-2. It is a mean of transportation that follows the innovative and modern trends of the city. CMO1 has an exterior that breaks with the past, with a simple but original, timeless and modern architecture that offers a new way to access the compartments, with a large and spacious capacity. The connection between compartments is inspired by robotics articulations and its versatility allows its use as an access way as well as a viewpoint. The monorail becomes an icon that transforms the skyline of the mountain and the city, with a lighting system that draws a large and intense blue colour stroke over Montjuïc mountain.
Mitsubishi &Mac186;
Sergi Sans
Mitsubishi &Mac186; is a vehicle designed to be enjoyed, irrespective of its use and surroundings. The vehicle is based on the platform of new Mitsubishi Colt. The outside of the vehicle is shaped as a solid and bright interior that, held by protective structures, conveys a sensation of serene and warm power. Its cleanness and sheltered inside provide the user with the sensation of feeling within a closeted and suggestive space away from day-to-day stress, and close to home comfort and familiarity. And its character, strength and flexibility are based on its capacity to become a small pick-up, while allowing a much more sporting character than that provided by minivans or SUVs.

Affiliated to the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), Elisava offers BA Degrees in Design, Technical Architecture and Technical Engineering in Industrial Design, a wide range of Masters Degrees and Postgraduate Diplomas, Advanced Degrees and Educational Courses in design. The school has over 1500 students and more than 500 teachers and collaborators with a wide experience in the educational and/or professional fields.
The Master's degree in Transport Vehicle Design is attended by students coming from inside and outside Spain, and is situated in Barcelona, a city that is a world reference in culture and design, the most important car industry centre in Spain, and one of the most important automobile design meeting points in Europe. Companies such as Volkswagen Group, Renault and Volvo have placed their design centres in Barcelona and its surroundings. Also, other specialist companies such as Fuore Design, Italdesign or Giugiaro have offices in the city. The program benefits from the cooperation of industry partners from the aeronautics and engineering fields such as Mitsubishi, Recaro Aircraft, Axson, Rücker-LYPSA, EDAG and ARRK.
